Who’s the new Boss?
This one caught us unawares! Speculation
is rife that Ranbir Kapoor might host the next season of Bigg Boss after
Salman Khan apparently expressed disinterest in the show because of all
the controversies last season. Our source says, “Salman recently
announced his plans to host a show on social issues and he has been
approached for the next season of Dus Ka Dum. Keeping in mind his film
commitments as well, this does not leave time for Bigg Boss. While
Salman had hoped the last season of Bigg Boss would be fit for family
viewing, thanks to some contestants on the show, it had more drama and
controversies than ever before. Some fans (believed to be PR
representatives of certain contestants) had also engaged in
Salman-bashing on social media, calling him an unfair host. It is now
being said that Ranbir may be approached for Bigg Boss.”
Soodesh’s new innings:
Actor Soodesh Berry plays Drupad in Star Plus’ ambitious Mahabharat. He says although the mythological genre is new for him, it’s also very exciting. He says, “I feel good, but these are alien waters for me. I’m getting very positive response thankfully, but I’m not satisfied… I wanted to portray Drupad as a very powerful, strong and emotionless character. He needed to be very extraordinary. Sadly I’m a puppet of the director and I am told what to do, how to emote, when to cry.”
Soodesh also refers to the fact that he is believed to “raise the TRPs of the shows he enters”. “It’s in my kundali. Whenever Soodesh Berry will appear on screen, the show will be successful,” he claims.
Sharing an incident from the Mahabharat shoot, the actor says, “The day we were shooting for Draupadi’s swayamwar was unforgettable. Three of the artistes fainted during that shoot! This was in December — not even during summer, when people do suffer from heat strokes!”

What’s in a name?
We were surprised to hear that Elli Avram is now being called Elli Avrami. Our source says, “Salman used to call her Elli Avrami on Bigg Boss and now it’s become popular, with a lot of people referring to her by that name. However, rumours of her changing her last name officially, aren’t true.”
